The Stanford CodeX Project: Taking Arbitration Mainstream

Stanford University recently named ArbiClaims CEO Stephen Kane a CodeX Fellow!

The CodeX Fellowship brings together talented individuals to create innovative and creative solutions to advance legal technology. This highly selective fellowship brings together researchers, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and technologists to increase transparency and access to legal systems.

Using ArbiClaims as a foundation, Stephen’s CodeX project seeks to understand the post-dispute arbitration agreement decision-making process. The project will uncover the factors that motivate individuals and businesses to resolve disputes rather than allowing them to remain in limbo. Stephen also hopes to explore the long-term trends related to the culture of dispute resolution.
